2. PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING

2.1. WEB SITE AND LOG FILE MANAGEMENT

2.1.1. What data?

When you use our website for informational purposes only, i.e., if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we collect only the data about your visit to our website that your browser transmits to our server in so-called log files. Specifically, the system automatically collects data and information from the calling computer's computer system each time our website is called.
The information collected can be the following data:

• Information on the type of browser and the version used
• User's operating system
• Hashed mobile device codes
• Hashed identifiers between devices
• Geo-information
• Language settings of the browser used
• Information about the user's Internet service provider
• Shortened IP addresses

2.1.2. Why ?

The data collected is necessary for the provision of the website. For this purpose, among other things, the user's IP address must be stored for the duration of the session.

The storage in log files is done to ensure the functionality of the website. This data is used by us exclusively for statistical purposes in order to make our offer more user-friendly and to ensure system security. This data is not stored with other personal data of the user. We reserve the right to check the server log files at any time if there are concrete indications of illegal use of our website.

2.1.3. Retention period?

The data collected to provide the website is stored for the duration of the respective session and then deleted. If data is stored in log files, this is the case after seven days at the latest. Storage beyond this period is possible. In this case, the IP addresses of the users are deleted or alienated, so that an assignment is no longer possible.

The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of log files are absolutely necessary for the proper provision of our website. Therefore, there is no possibility for the user to object.

The data referred to under the point 2.2.1 are collected with the sole purpose of making it possible to process your request and, if applicable, allowing you to post an advertisement or to get back in touch with you.

2.2.3. Retention period?

We store and use the data you have provided to us for the execution of pre-contractual measures or contracts. After the contract has been fully executed or after your customer account has been deleted, your data will be blocked for tax and business retention periods and then deleted after these periods have expired, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or further use is permitted by law.
You can delete your customer account at any time by contacting the controller at contact@myscrapmachine.com.

2.2.4. Legal basis of the processing and rights of the data subjects

The legal basis for the data processing is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR and the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

2.3. ORDER PROCESSING AND PUBLICATION OF ADVERTISEMENTS

2.3.1. What data?

In case of publication of an ad via our website, the following categories of data are collected:

Personal information: first name and surname, date of birth, address, ... ;
Contact information: e-mail address, telephone number, operating address of the commercial activity, ...;
Financial information: VAT number, Trade and Companies Register number, ...;
Use based information: your user preferences (language, search criteria, saved ads, ...), data related to the billing and publication of your ads.

2.3.2. Why?

The data referred to under the point 2.2.1 are collected with the sole purpose of making it possible to process your request and, if applicable, allowing you to post an advertisement or to get back in touch with you.

2.3.3. Retention period?

We retain and use the data you have provided to us for the performance of contracts. After the contract has been fully executed or after your customer account has been deleted, your data will be blocked for tax and business retention periods and then deleted after these periods have expired, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or further use is permitted by law.
You can delete your customer account at any time by contacting the controller at contact@myscrapmachine.com.

2.3.4. Use of the payment service provider Stripe

Payments on our website by credit card (Bancontact, Visa, Mastercard) are made in full at the end of the order. All credit card payments are 100% secured by the Stripe platform, in accordance with French and international interbank security measures. Your banking data are encrypted by SSL technology.
Payment is processed by the payment service provider Stripe Payments Europe Ltd, Block 4, Harcourt Centre, Harcourt Road, Dublin 2, Ireland, to whom we transmit your order information (name, address, account number, bank code, possibly credit/debit card number, invoice amount, currency and transaction number) in accordance with Article 6, (1), (b), GDPR. Your data will only be passed on for the purpose of processing payments with the payment service provider Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. and only to the extent necessary. 2.3.5. Legal basis of the processing and rights of the data subjects

2.4. DATA PROCESSING IN THE CONTEXT OF THE CONTACT FORM AND THE NEWSLETTER

2.4.1. What data?

We process some of your personal data in order to send you our newsletter by e-mail, in particular on topics related to our services. The data processed for the sending of our newsletter are the following:
Personal information: first name and surname
Contact information: e-mail address

2.4.2. Why?

The data referred to under the point 2.2.1 are collected with the sole purpose of making it possible to process your request, to send you the newsletter and to get back in touch with you.

2.4.3. Retention period

We store and use the data you have provided to us on the basis of your consent for a period of two years, as long as your customer account is active or until you withdraw your consent, which can be done at any time for future processing operations by sending an e-mail to contact@myscrapmachine.com.
After deletion of your customer account or withdrawal of your consent, your data will be blocked for tax and business retention periods and then deleted at the end of these periods, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or further use is permitted by law.

2.4.4. Legal basis of the processing and rights of the data subjects
The legal basis for the above processing is Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR and your consent.

2.5. COOKIE MANAGEMENT AND GOOGLE ANALYTICS INTEGRATION

2.5.1. What data?

A cookie is a small file that is downloaded to your browser when you access certain websites. Cookies allow the website owner to recognise your preferences. This can help us provide you with a more user-friendly browsing experience. 2.6. USE OF THE TAWK.TO LIVE CHAT SYSTEM
2.6.1. What data?

Use based data: all data entered by the user in the chat*.
*As a user of the live chat function, you are not allowed to enter and thus process personal data that fall under "special categories of data" within the meaning of Article 9 of the GDPR. This data includes information on race, religion and health data. In addition, we prohibit you from entering payment information, account numbers or credit/debit card numbers.

2.6.2. Why?

The data referred to under the point 2.6.1. are collected with the sole purpose of making it possible to process your request, to communicate with you and to get back in touch with you upon your request.

2.6.3. How long

We store and use the data you have provided to us on the basis of your consent for a period of XXX , as long as your customer account is active or until you withdraw your consent, which can be done at any time for future processing operations, by sending an e-mail to contact@myscrapmachine.com.
