HAMMEL Recyclingtechnik GmbH, based in Bad Salzungen in Thuringia, has been a leading manufacturer of recycling machines and plant technology for more than 27 years. The HAMMEL shredders are characterized by robustness and quality. With good care and maintenance, the machines can be used for several decades.
At HAMMEL, the customers are also in the right place if the "NEW" is supposed to be a "USED" one. In addition to its range of new machines, HAMMEL Recyclingtechnik GmbH offers a selection of HAMMEL shredders that can be used again as 2-hand machines. The company receives this in exchange transactions with new investments or redemption deals.
Used recycling machines, especially the robust built HAMMEL shredders, have long been a welcome alternative to new machines due to their age and relatively low operation hours. What is interesting here is the faster availability on the market; New machines currently have long delivery times and are rarely available immediately.
At HAMMEL, the refurbishment and preparation of used machines is completely taken over by the service department, which works independently of the running production line. Here the machines are completely dismantled into individual parts. The main components such as the hydraulic system, the engine and the gearbox are checked and, if necessary, sent to the manufacturer to be regenerated. The shredding shafts, side combs and breaker bars go to the welding department for reconditioning. Checking all wearing parts such as deflection rollers and rubber belts is also on the agenda, as is checking the radio remote control and electrical control unit and their cable connections.
BEFORE
The visual aspect plays a decisive role in the processing of used machines. The individual machine components are painted over in the special HAMMEL colors and then reassembled. A used machine that is more than 10 years old, for example, then looks “like new”. The machines are then reassembled and safety-relevant items are checked and installed.
AFTER
The customers of this used machine like to buy directly from the manufacturer because they know that the overhaul and repair was carried out to a high standard and that a ready-to-use shredder is being purchased.
